Several hundred people gathered on Storm Avenue Thursday afternoon for the neighborhood’s annual Fourth of July celebration. After a short patriotic program held on the porch of the recently-renovated Butterfield Mansion, attendees gathered for a parade down the avenue. The celebration included food, water slides, games, music, rides on a children’s train, bubbles and balloons. Pictured, Kim Jordan blows bubbles as her 5-year-old daughter Hayes waits to pop them.
