Samson and Sue Leggett, of Bogue Chitto, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Miranda Suzanne Leggett, to Jefferson David Gill.

He is the son of David and Diane Gill, of Brookhaven.

She is the granddaughter of Georgia Walker, the late Cecil Walker, of Summit, and Claudine Smith and the late Jere Smith, of Bogue Chitto.

He is the grandson of the late Perley and Mary Gill, of Brookhaven, and the late J.K. and Martha Laird, of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a 2012 highest honor graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center, a 2014 highest honor graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College and a 2016 honor graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is currently employed with Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

The prospective groom is a 2009 graduate of West Lincoln Attendance Center and a 2011 honor graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College where he received an associate’s degree in automotive technology. He is currently employed with Farmbelt Equipment.

The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2016, at Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and the reception. Only out of town invitations will be sent.
