Dr. and Mrs. Dan Tuckey, of Havelock, North Carolina, and Mr. and and Mrs. Tom Mason Jr., of Morehead City, North Carolina, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Sydney Tuckey and Trey Mason.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Gomez, of Caro, Michigan, Fonda Doyen, of Cass City, Michigan, and the late Mark Tuckey, of Cass City.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Yoci Yarbrough, of Brookhaven, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mason Sr., of August, Georgia.

The bride-elect is a 2016 graduate of the University of North Carolina.

The prospective groom is a 2015 graduate of Mars Hill University. He will attend Georgia Southern University to pursue a master’s degree. He is currently employed with Havelock High School.

The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2016, at First Baptist Church in Morehead City. A reception will follow in the Family Life Center.
