Parks scored when senior Kensy Covington singled to make the Yellow Jacket lead 6-5.
With Covington on first and Poole on second, junior Morgan Chemin played the role of the hero as she blasted a three-run, walk-off home run to give the Cougars the win.
Parklane also comes into the Monday night matchup with a 3-0 record against district competition. The Pioneers (9-3) have topped Columbia Academy (9-2 score), Oak Forest (6-1 score), and Silliman Institute (12-3 score).
