Pair of West Lincoln Bears make their college choices official

A pair of West Lincoln seniors recently signed to continue their athletic and academic careers by inking letters of intent with local community colleges. Senior cheerleader Jaydin Leggett will be staying a Bear, as she’s signed to join the cheer team next year at Southwest Mississippi Community College in Summit. Joining Leggett for her singing ceremony were her mom Amanda Dayton and her brother Brody Leggett. Also present were West Lincoln cheer coach Dedra Edwards and Southwest cheer coaches Katie Paulk Bell and Cory Boyd. Senior Gabe Gennaro signed to play golf next year at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson. Gennaro has been a multi-sport standout during his high school career as a multi-year starter in both baseball and soccer at West Lincoln. Additionally, he spent one season kicking for the football team along with being a member of the golf and fishing teams. Joining Gennaro during his signing ceremony are his parents Skip and Allison Genaro and Lindsey Gennaro along with his brother Luke and West Lincoln golf coach Ben Huey.
