One of the top transfer portal running backs, Lawrence County alum Ahmad Hardy, made his final decision on Thursday of where he’ll next play college football with his announced signing at the University of Missouri.

Hardy went on official visits to Ole Miss, Kentucky and Auburn after finishing in the top 10 nationally in rushing yards while winning Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year this season at UL-Monroe as a true freshman.

He was named Daily Leader All-Area MVP a year ago after running for over 2,000 yards for the Lawrence County Cougars as a senior.
