It was soggy due to rainfall, and it was delayed due to lightning, but the 2024 season finale of Copiah-Lincoln CC football went into the books as a win on Thursday for the Wolves as they dispatched visiting Northeast Mississippi 44-14 in Wesson.

The win makes Co-Lin 5-4 on the season, a third straight year for the Wolves to finish above .500 for longtime head coach Glenn Davis.

CLCC sophomore quarterback Will Loy, playing his final game in Stone Stadium after a decorated high school career for the Wesson Cobras, finished with 97 passing yards on 5-of-8 attempts with one passing touchdown and one rushing score. That passing score was hauled in by receiver Jordan Richardson.
