The White Sox, a 10U travel team made up of players from Copiah and Lincoln Counties, recently won first place in a tournament played in Grenada. The team won The Grand Slam A bracket by finishing 6-0 and outscoring their competition 58-9 in tournament play.

Team members included Konner Minton, Ace Taylor, Bently Burns, Braxton Shoemake, Cole Harris, Peyton Giddens, Preston Kennedy, Trajan Upton, Kyp Lofton, and Logan Lockhart. Coaches are Cody Burns, Greg Lockhart, and Nathan Minton.

Lockhart was named Tournament MVP.
