Co-Lin has multiple sports camp opportunities coming up

If you’ve got kids at home that are bored already with summer break, then the athletic programs at Copiah-Lincoln CC in Wesson might be what you’re looking for. CLCC is offering several camps over the next month.

Basketball
In Mullen Gymnasium, the Copiah-Lincoln basketball staff will be hosting the annual Wolf Pup Day Camp on June 10-11. The camp is for boys and girls in grades 1-6 and runs from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. The cost of the camp is $85 per child.
Also on June 10-11, the CLCC women’s staff will host a skills camp from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. for girls in grades 5-9. This camp will focus on fundamentals development and costs $60 per camper.
CLCC basketball also has annual team camps taking place on campus with girls’ team camps running on June 2-4 and June 6-8 and a boys’ team camp on June 13-15.
Football
Coach Glenn Davis and his staff want the big guys to head to Wesson for a one-day Lineman Camp on June 12. The camp is open to athletes from 14 years old to 18 years old. The camp will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., costs $40, and is open to offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and tight ends. Co-Lin also has its annual 7-on-7 Tournament coming up on June 10.
Soccer
Co-Lin soccer is hosting an overnight camp for junior high and high school age soccer players that will run from June 6-9. The camp costs $250 and includes six training sessions with the college’s coaching staff, three games of intercamp competition and an All-Star game to be held at the conclusion of the camp. The cost also covers room and board, three meals a day, team bonding activities, footy golf, a camp t-shirt and a camp soccer ball.
The CLCC soccer program will also host its annual 7-on-7 Tournament on June 14.
Softball
The first camp being put on by the Co-Lin softball staff will take place on June 4-5 and is open to campers ages 6-12. The camp will cost $85 per camper and runs from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. each day.
For older campers, there will be a one-day Prospect Camp on June 11. It is open to campers in grades 7-12, costs $80, and runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. There will also be a team camp on July 16-17 hosted by the Wolves.
Baseball
Co-Lin baseball will put on its annual camp on June 17-19. The camp runs from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and costs $100 per camper. The camp is open to boys ages 6-12.
Golf
From June 12-14, a CLCC golf camp will be held at Wolf Hollow Golf Club. The cost is $120 for pre-registered campers and goes up to $130 on the day of the camp. The camp is open to kids from ages 4-9 years old and will last from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Cheer
There will be a Pee Wee Cheer Camp in Wesson on June 17-18. The camp is open to girls ages 4-9 years old and will run from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. in Callender Hall. The cost of the camp is $60 and for more information, email mary.franklin@colin.edu.
