Members of the Wesson softball team, which reached the MHSAA 3A semifinals, were recently honored at the athletic banquet hosted by the school. Honorees include: Maddie Sanders, 10th Man Award; Mary Gwyn Hynum, Tru Grit Award; Mallory Sanders, Best Defensive Player, All-Region, Senior Award; Julianna Wilson, Best Offensive Player, All-Region, and Senior Award; Macy Loy, Hustle Award; and Mary Margaret Woods, Coaches Award; Kenslie Carter, Golden Glove and All-Region; Preslee Newman, Flat Bat Award; Lilly Kate Channell, All-Region; and Emileigh Woodson, All-Region.
