The Bogue Chitto Bobcats were victorious in both the girls’ and boys’ championship games of the Region 7-2A Tournament on Friday at home. In the girls’ finals, Bogue Chitto moved to 26-0 on the season with a 52-25 win over West Lincoln. The Bogue Chitto boys’ team topped Loyd Star 73-42, which made their record 25-1. Both Bogue Chitto teams are coached by Marc Howard.

Girls’ team members include seniors Ty May and DeMya Porter, junior Neeli Magee, Layla McKnight, Mallory Williams, Alana Harthorne and Hope Moak, sophomores Kyndra Quinn, Destinee Thompson and Meghan Richardson, and freshmen Kinsley Wisinger, Raven Ratcliff, Joy Leggett and Tylashia Anderson.

Boys’ team members include seniors Shomari Jenkins, Tyler Pruden, Jax Leggett and JaMarion May, juniors Noah Magee, Tarvas Collins, Isaiah Collins, Kristopher Payton, Devonta Thompson and Shakell Jenkins, sophomores Randy Crisler, Tripp McCaffrey, Tucker Kyzar and Amare Thomas, and freshmen Paxton Waldrop, Jaquaveion Hampton, Jayden Poole, Hayden Avants and Immanuel Conerly.
