Zevantae Stapleton, Wesson

Zevantae Stapleton is letting opposing defenses know that he’s back every week when Wesson takes the field. Sidelined last season by a leg injury just before the first game, Stapleton has rushed for 381 yards and six touchdowns through three games for Wesson.

Last week in a 42-7 win over Perry Central, he picked up 176 yards on 18 carries. Stapleton averaged 9.8 yards per carry and scored twice in the win. On the season he’s averaging 127 yards per game for a 3-0 group of Wesson Cobras.
