The West Lincoln Bears outpointed the Sacred Heart Crusaders recently to take the Region 4-2A Powerlifting Meet. The Bears are coached by Brad Bland.

Senior Jackson Taylor finished in first in the 308-pound class. He set a new school record with a 330-pound bench press and with a 1,400-pound total weight on his three lifts.

Zach Taylor was the second-place finisher in the Super Heavyweight Class and set a new school deadlift record with a 520-pound pull.

Other first place finishers for WL were Tyler Hall (123-pounds), Ashtin Auttonberry (181-pounds) and Aaron Sanders (220-pounds).

Bricen Case finished second in the 275-pound class while Weston Patten (123-pounds) and Logan Anders (198-pounds) grabbed third place finishes.
