The Lincoln County 10U All-Stars have already won their district and state titles and Saturday they begin their quest for a Dixie Youth World Series title.

The team begins World Series bracket play at 7 p.m. in Laurel against Team Tennessee. A win would move them to a 7 p.m. game Sunday against the winner of Team Texas and Team North Carolina.

The LC All-Stars are now Team Mississippi after winning the state title earlier this summer in Kosciusko. There are 12 teams in the World Series that begins Saturday and ends Thursday, Aug. 12.

Team members include Cruz Hamil, Reece Robinson, Fisher Holcomb, JB Baker, Braxton Fortenberry, Elliot Peavey, Ethan Hite, Kayden Book, Collin Holmes, Carter Evans, Owen Webb and Tripp McDowell. Coaches are Patrick Holcomb, Waylon Book and Christopher Robinson.
