BHS alums open CFB season Thursday with the Golden Eagles

Photo by USM Sports Info Brookhaven High alum Trace Clopton and the University of Southern Miss Golden Eagles will get the college football season started Thursday night in Hattiesburg with a matchup against the University of South Alabama. A junior center, Clopton and fellow Ole Brook alum Coker Wright are both key pieces on the USM offensive line. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. from M.M. Roberts Stadium and the game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
