Two-way tie in Wolf Hollow scramble
WESSON – Two teams shot a dazzling, 13-under par 59 to finished tied for first place in Tuesday’s Senior Scramble at the Wolf Hollow Golf Club.
The team of George Brewer, Mike Sumrall, Gordon West, Eddie Ashley, Sid Smith and the team of Billie Price, Phillip Wallace, Dennis Meilstrup, Louie Jones and Wayne McInnis finished tied for first place with a score of a 13-under par 59.
The team of Charlie Davis, Darrell Steele, Robert Davis, Charles Chapman and Ken Frazier placed third on a scorecard playoff with a score of 12-under par 60.
The scramble is open to the public and starts each Tuesday at 9 a.m. Entry deadline is 8:30.
