The West Lincoln and Enterprise junior high basketball teams tipped off the 2014-2015 season at Enterprise on Tuesday. West Lincoln was victorious in three out of four games.

In the seventh grade girls game, the Lady Bears held on at the end for a 16-14 win. Bailey Wilson led West Lincoln with 8 points. The Lady Jackets were led by Gracie Knight’s 8 points.

In the seventh grade boys game, West Lincoln dominated from start to finish and cruised to a 36-4 win. Michael Brotherns led the Bears with 13 points. Seth Simon had 3 points for Enterprise.

West Lincoln’s junior high girls rolled to a 53-16 over the Lady Jackets. Megan Gerald led the Lady Bears with 16 points. Skylar Hall added 14 points, and Jana Case provided 10 points for West Lincoln. Enterprise was led by Brooke Foster’s 8 points.

In the junior high boys game, Enterprise jumped out to a 26-21 lead at the half and rolled to a 53-42 win. JaDawian Allen was the spark for the Jackets with 32 points. Jatavian Lewis and Garrison Coffey had 15 points each for the Bears.

West Lincoln will resume junior high action by traveling to Loyd Star on November 4 for four games. Tipoff is set for 4:00.
