RAYMOND – The Hinds Lady Eagles shutout the Co-Lin Lady Wolves 9-0 in Tuesday tennis action.

In doubles action, Madison Warren and Brandi McInnis fell to Mariana Alvarez and Rachel Rhett, 8-2. Chantel Quarles and Susana Ratcliff were defeated by Brittany Weathersby and Mary Meyers in the No. 2 position, 8-3. Julie Kramer and Bayli Battle rounded out the Lady Wolves doubles teams and were defeated by Sophia Slusasz and Rutchelyn Elizer, 8-0.

Warren fell to Alvarez in the No. 1 singles position, 6-0, 6-0. McInnis lost to Weathersby by a final score of 6-4, 6-1. Quarrels was defeated by Rhett at the No. 3 slot, 6-3, 6-0. Ratcliff was defeated by Meyers, 6-0, 6-1. Battle struggle with Slusasz as she was defeated 6-0, 6-3. Kramer wrapped up the Lady Wolves singles spots in the No. 6 position and was defeated by Elizar 6-0, 6-0.

The Lady Wolves take the court again Tuesday, March 29 as the team hosts Meridian beginning at 3:30 p.m.
