Funeral services for Rodessa Smith Hunter, of Lauderhill, Florida, formerly of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at 11 a.m. at St. James M.B. Church with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, from 1 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with family hour Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hunter, 86, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Florida Medical Center, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. She was born Dec. 27, 1929, to John Smith and Minnie Davis Smith.
