16-under secures WH scramble

WESSON – Donnie Sasser, Bobby Thornhill, Eddie Calcote and Yogi Yarbrough shot a sizzling, 16-under par 56 to claim last Tuesday’s Senior Scramble at the Wolf Hollow Golf Club.

Three teams finished tied for second place with a score of 59 – the team of Sonny Branning, Eddie Coleman, Buddy Bounds, Jim Branning and the team of Kenny Nixon, John Darrington, Billy Baker, Elton Berry and the team of Ron Cooper, Jim Hankins, James Rushing and Phillip Rose.

The scramble is open to the public and starts each Tuesday at 9 a.m. Entry deadline is 8:30 a.m.
