Enterprise travels to Ethel

Enterprise, coached by Brook Burns, is ready to start the season as the team prepares to travel to battle the Ethel Tigers Friday night.

The Jackets will be depending on 11 offensive starters to lead the way. Enterprise’s running backs are Braxton Thompson (5-10, 180, sr.), Tanner Waldrop (5-7, 150, soph.) and Wesley Blazier (5-7, 145, soph.). On the offensive line are Adam McGee (5-10, 260, sr.), Jonathon Britt (6-3, 250, sr.), Dylan Nelton (5-8, 150, sr.), Dalton Wilcoxson (6-0, 270, sr.) and Jacob Thames (6-3, 280, sr.). At quarterback is Zach Hodges (5-10, 155, jr.).

On defense, Enterprise is loaded with experience with Thames, Britt, McGee and Wilcoxson on the defensive line. Jeffery Daniels, Devon Kirtfield, Hodges, Waldrop, Blazier and Thompson in the backfield.

The Jackets are looking to snap a 29-game losing streak as they take on the Ethel Tigers for the first time.

My prediction for this year:  The Jackets and Tigers will have an exciting battle to start the season, but Ethel will win 35-16 over Enterprise.
