Early Morning Prayer Walk

Chancery Clerk Tillmon Bishop gave a devotional, and KDMC Chaplain Ken Kirk and hospital and local officials also were present for the event, which began at 7 a.m. Thursday at the hospital. In addition to the walk, participants also were able to sign up for prayer in any 10-minute increment during a 24-hour span. During the walk, participants were able to stop at 10 “prayer stations” devoted to specific designations that includes city/county government officials, the military and KDMC physicians and clinics, among other designations. Participants were encouraged to offer a prayer in support of these people and institutions.
The Prayer Walk at King’s Daughters Medical Center attracted the attention of hospital staff and others Thursday morning.
