BASSFIELD – The Enterprise Yellow Jackets knocked off the Bassfield Yellowjackets 13-4 Thursday night to complete a two-game sweep in Region 7-2A baseball action.

“It was good to get the win,” said Enterprise coach Cass Brister. “It was nice to be able to bring in Jackson Cole to help us on the mound. Austin Fuller and Landon Gartman pitched a great game to give us a chance to win. Overall, the guys played hard and I was pleased with their effort. Bassfield did a great job bouncing back after the tough loss they suffered last Tuesday.”

The Lincoln County-based Jackets (6-5, 4-0) will take the weekend off to rest and prepare for a tough match-up Tuesday as they host their Lincoln County/Region rivals the Loyd Star Hornets. Junior varsity action starts at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 6:30 p.m.
