Graveside services for Lucious Turner Jr. of Bentonia are 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Carver Heights Cemetery. A memorial service is at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014 at M.W. Stringer Grand Lodge (Masonic Temple), Jackson. Shaffer-Collins Funeral Home, Yazoo City, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Turner, 85, died March 6, 2014, at G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery VA Medical Center. He was born in Brookhaven on Oct. 16, 1928 to Lucious Turner Sr. and Rosie Turner.

Preceding him in death were his parents.
