Christmas is always a very special time, and Daily Leader readers are invited to share their favorite holiday memories with the community through an upcoming keepsake section called “Christmas Memories.”

“I know that Daily Leader readers love making memories and recording history. I hope that readers will submit and share photos and stories of their favorite Christmas memories with the community,” said Daily Leader publisher Otis Raybon.

“I believe this section will become a keepsake for all.”

Area residents, civic clubs, churches and other organizations are invited to submit articles of 250 words or less and photographs by filling out the forms included on page 9A of today’s newspaper and mailing the information to Editor, The Daily Leader, P.O. Box 551, Brookhaven, MS 39602-0551. Or information may be emailed to news@dailyleadercom. Be sure to include a telephone contact number.

If submitting a photograph, please include identifying information for the picture.

In addition to holiday memories, a favorite recipe for Christmas time is also welcome for the special section.
