FC kickers sweep North Pike

BUDE – Harley McCay was in a zone Tuesday night, and the North Pike Jaguars couldn’t do anything about it.
McCay, a freshman for the Franklin County Bulldogs, scored a stunning six goals to help lead FCHS to a 10-2 win.
Coached by second year coach Jeff Long, and assisted by Stephanie McCormick, the Lady Bulldogs got nine saves from freshman goalie Macy Ziskin.
FC also received added support on offense from junior Krislyn Kent with two goals, plus a goal each from speedsters Si’Edriq Middleton and Shelby Smith.
In the boys’ game, upstart senior Hoby Mullins scored two goals and added two assists in a 6-0 win over North Pike.
Greg Queen added two goals, while Kemo Verdin and Zayne Mullins had a goal and a assist apiece.
Goal keeper Nathan Verdin collected the shutout with six saves.
