Services for Deon Carradine of Meadville are 3 p.m., Saturday,July 14, at Franklin County High School Auditorium with burial inBunkley Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 1-5 p.m. at Tyler Funeral Home and from2 p.m. until service time at the school.
Mr. Carradine, 14, drowned July 9, 2001, in the HomochittoRiver. He was born in McComb on Nov. 2, 1986, to Curtis Carradineand Eva Nell Harris Carradine.
He was a student in the Franklin County Schools. He was a memberof Mt. Sinaii Church, where he was in the youth choir. He enjoyedplaying softball.
Preceding him in death was his mother.
Survivors are his father, Curtis Carradine of Baltimore, Md.;his grandmother who reared him, Mae Ella Harris of Meadville; hisbrothers, Curtis L. Carradine and Roderick Carradine, both ofMeadville; and his sisters, Denisha Carradine, Lakisha Harris,Aleshia Carradine, Kimico Carradine, and Kameka Carradine, all ofMeadville.
