All star play begins today

The Lincoln County Dixie Youth Baseball AA Coach-Pitch All-Star teams begin playoff action today at Keystone Park.
The 8-year-old National and American All-Stars will be in action as they prepare to make their run toward the State Tournament in Cleveland.
The Lincoln County Nationals battles the Franklin County All-Stars at 8 p.m. and the Lincoln County Americans entertain the Copiah County All-Stars in the opener at 6 p.m. The Natchez All-Star team received an opening round bye and will be in action Saturday in The District 6 double-elimination tournament.
In the 7-year-old division, the Lincoln Nationals and Americans All-Stars will have to travel south down I-55 to participate in McComb’s double-elimination tournament today. They will also be fighting for their shot to go to state in Cleveland.
The Lincoln County Americans kick off the action against the McComb All-Stars at 6 p.m. The Lincoln County Nationals battle the Copiah County All-Stars at 8. In both age divisions, the final two teams remaining will advance to the big dance.

7-year-old Americans: Xavier Gayten, London Carter, Caden White, Jaden Lea, Bailey Reid, Marshall Hart, Brandon Burt, Easton Sartin, Samuel Evans, Abram Taylor, Nathan Poole and Robert Adcock. Assistant Coaches: Gareth Sartin, Duane Burt and John Hart. Head Coach: Chris Reid.
7-year-old Nationals: Hayden Adams, Brett Jordan, Conner Cunningham, Caleb Smith, Hunter Townsend, Caden Yarborough, Gavin Regouffre, Matthew Purdy, Grayson Smith, Bryce Smith, Zachery Hirsth, Tanner Stokes. Assistant Coaches: Lance Adams, David Smith and Brett Smith. Head Coach: Tim Cunningham.
8-year-old Americans: John Patrick Wallace, Payne Waldrop, Parker Moak, Carter Holcomb, Mason Davis, Trevor Fortenberry, Trenton Tarver, Riley Easterling, Jacob Rushing, Peyton Prather, Peyton Reid and Rayle Stewart. Assistant Coaches: Shane Easterling, Delanyne Moak and Dustin Stewart. Head Coach: Blake Wallace.
8-year-old Nationals: Logan Case, Blake Thorton, Trevor Smith, Landon Porter, Easton Boyte, Lane Biggs, Brayden Polk, Brantley Day, Logan Bardwell, Will Loy, Jake Meilstrup and Brandon Welch. Assistant Coaches: Jeremy Loy, Neal Boyte, Corey Welch, Ryan Day and Nathan Biggs. Head Coach: Ryan Case.
