Services for Ruth Elizabeth Lee Gorton, of Wesson, are 2 p.m.Sunday, Jan. 10, at Heucks Retreat Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in chargeof arrangements.

Mrs. Gorton, 79, died Jan. 7, 2010, at her residence. She wasborn on April 10, 1930, to Frank Marion Lee and Ruby ElizabethBardwell Lee.

She was a member of Heucks Retreat Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her sister, EvelynLee Duff.

Survivors are her husband, Lee Gorton; her son, Freddie LeeGorton, of Wesson; her daughter, Elizabeth Cheryl Gorton Scott andhusband, David Michael, of Lafayette, La.; her brother, ClarenceEugene Lee, of Wesson; her grandson, Lt. Col. Christopher LeeLucas; her great-grandson, Benjamin Lee; and many nieces andnephews.
