Services for Hosea Nettles of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Monday,Nov. 26, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in EasthavenCemetery.
Mr. Nettles, 81, died Nov. 24, 2001, at his residence. He wasborn in Franklin County on July 26, 1920, to Pollie Nettles andCarrie Myers Nettles.
He was employed for 19 years with Brookhaven Creamery. He wasdisabled. He was a member of the Baptist faith. He was an Armyveteran of WWII and a member of VFW and American Legion.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and his granddaughter,Stacie Nettles.
Survivors are his wife, Margie Pepper Nettles of Brookhaven; hisson and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Cathy Nettles of Brookhaven; hisdaughter and son-in-law, Judy and Dalton Case of Brookhaven; hissisters, Lucille Vaughn of Mooreville, Lena Pearl Ford ofRidgeland, and Faye Carter of Rolling Fork; his grandchildren,Dusty Case and wife Trish, Chad Nettles and Mark Case; hisgreat-grandchildren, Kellie Case, Alexis Nettles, Brittany Case,Lindsey Case, and Dylan Case; and a host of nieces, nephews, andother relatives.
