Sanders-Troutman win BCC’s 4-Ball tournament

Former LSU standouts Jay Sanders and Beck Troutman of McCombcombined talents to win the 2006 Brookhaven Country Club’s 4-BallChampionship. They shot a 2-round, 15-under total of 60-65–125 tobeat the runner-up team of Brookhaven’s Kent Allen and GeorgeHennington by three strokes.
Craig Smith of Brookhaven and Dale Sykes of Monticello won theFirst Flight with a 66-61–127. Second Flight laurels went to ChuckFeeney and Ronnie Frazier, winning a scorecard playoff over ToddNelson and John Ratcliff as both teams shot 137.
Tommy Jolly and Paul Johnson won the Third Flight with a 144,beating Daniel Whittington and Jason Horne in a playoff.
Fifty-six teams participated in the 2-day tournament.
