The first Lipsey Peewee Football League game is Sept. 10. There will be six regular-season games, played on Tuesdays, on Brookhaven’s King Field.

League commissioner Buddy Thibodeaux said the Pewee League is open to fifth and sixth grade students at Lipsey Middle School, ages, 10-12. No player turning 13 before Nov. 1 is eligible for the league.

Every player must have a physical exam prior to registration for the league, plus proof of insurance. The registration fee is $75.

Entry deadline is Tuesday for sixth graders, with registration from 6-8 p.m. in the cafeteria. Wednesday deadline is for the fifth graders.
