Memorial services for Bernard Jacob Machost Jr., of Bogue Chitto, are 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the home of Kathryn and Maurice Simmons. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

     Mr. Machost, 57, died Sept. 3, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. He was born on Oct. 6, 1954.

     He was a registered nurse and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

     Preceding him in death were his grandparents.

     Survivors are his parents, Bernard Jacob Machost Sr. and Wilma Marie Murrell Machost; son, Bernard Jacob Machost III; daughters, Christina Marie Machost, Janet Nicole Arnold and husband, Ronald, and Rebecca Jean Machost; brother, George Henry Machost; sisters, Mary Aube, Karen Machost and Kathryn Simmons; one grandchild, Tyler Arold; ex-wife, Janet Denise Machost; friend, Jan Cantrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
