Memorial services for Wynona Fay Fortson Norman, ofPrairieville, La., are 4 p.m. Saturday, March 5 at PrairievilleKingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Rabenhorst Funeral Home inBaton Rouge is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Norman, 82, died March 2, 2005, at her residence.

She served faithfully for over 50 years as one of Jehovah’sWitnesses. She was known throughout the community as a zealousteacher of God’s word.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Herbert and EstelleFortson; her husband of over 62 years, John Norman Jr.; and herbrother, Melvin Fortson.

Survivors are her four daughters, Lyndall Nichols, BarbaraJahan, Jacquelyn Evans and Jane Bueche; two sons, John Norman IIIand James Norman Sr.; one sister, Martha Bienvenu; four brothers,Herbert Fortson, Arthur Fortson, Richard Fortson and CharlesFortson; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
