Services for Ida “Sis” Johnson, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Monday, March 19, at Center Street Church of Christ in Brookhavenwith burial in Rosehill Cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Johnson, 68, died March 13, 2007, at her residence. She wasborn on July 17, 1938, to Ollie Washington and Clara McKenzieWashington.

She was a former nurse assistant at Cartwheel Nursing Home inBrookhaven. She was a member of Center Street Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brothers, OllieWashington, Lige Washington and Thomas C. Moore.

Survivors are her husband, James Johnson Sr., of Brookhaven; herson, James Johnson Jr., and Jerry Johnson, both of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Barbara Phillips and Linda Searcy, both of Brookhaven;and her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
