Services for Mary Henderson of Brookhaven are 3 p.m., Saturday,Feb. 8, at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with burial inHillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from noon to 6 p.m., with family hour from6-7 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henderson, 63, died Feb. 4, 2003, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Brookhaven on June 14, 1939, toEarlie Maxwell and Annie Maude Foots Maxwell.
She was a former cook at Brown’s Cafe. She was a member ofEmanuel Temple.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother, Earlie B.Maxwell; a son, Wilbert Cain; and two grandchildren, Corinna Kingand Justin Cain.
Survivors are her sons, the Rev. Reco Cain of Meadville, andBernell Cain of Brookhaven; her daughters, Annie Pearl Robinson,Darlene King and Mary Townsend, all of Brookhaven, and Doretha Cainof Jackson; her sisters, Willie Pearl Wells of Lansing, Mich.,Mattie Mae Smith of Jackson, and Elnora Stewart of Brookhaven; and11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and a host of niecesand nephews.
