Services for Dean Brister of Baton Rouge are 11 a.m., Saturday,Feb. 23, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in BristerCemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at thefuneral home.

Mr. Brister, 72, died Feb. 20, 2002, at Our Lady of the LakeHospital. He was born in Lincoln County on July 24, 1929, to LutherM. Brister and Jewel Minton Brister.

He was a research technician for the U.S. Department ofAgriculture. He was an Army veteran.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister, BonnieJean Gaines.

Survivors are his brothers, Ralph Brister of Pearl River, La.,Raymond Brister of Baton Rouge, and Teddy Brister of Wilmington,N.C.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
