Services for the Rev. Glen T. Williams of McComb are 11 a.m.,Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Central Baptist Church in McComb with burialin Lakewood Memorial Park South in Jackson.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Catchings Funeral Home andfrom 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Tuesday.

The Rev. Williams, 73, died Jan. 26, 2002, at SMRMC. He was bornin Knoxville, Tenn., on Aug. 28, 1928, to Harry D. Williams Sr. andViola Rice Williams.

He was retired after over 20 years as Director of Missions forthe Pike County Baptist Association. He was parttime Director ofEducation at Central Baptist Church in McComb, where he had been amember for over 30 years. He had preached in churches in LincolnCounty. He was a former member of McComb Exchange Club. He was anArmy veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Ella Turner Williams of McComb; hisdaughters, Beth McNease of Prentiss, Beverly Salmans of Scott City,Kan., and Amy Berry of Gulfport; his son, Dr. Allen Williams ofCyprus; his brother, Harry D. Williams Jr. of Fresno, Calif.; hissisters, Anna Jobe of Cushing, Okla., and Betty Wharton of Byram;and 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
