Services for Joseph Lee Dickerson of Jayess are 11 a.m.,Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Union Primitive Baptist Church in Ruth withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Catchings Funeral Home inMcComb and continues Tuesday at the church from 9 a.m. untilservice time.

Mr. Dickerson, 20, died Oct. 26, 2002, at his residence. He wasborn March 15, 1982, in McComb.

He was an assistant manager at Oliver Building Supply in Summit.He was a 2000 graduate of North Pike High School, where he playedsoccer and golf. He was a member of Johnson Station BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Robert and LouiseCarter Newman.

Survivors are his parents, Larry Don and Amandy Newman Dickersonof Jayess; his grandparents, C. L. and Donnie Nell Dickerson ofJayess; his brother, Brent Tarver of McComb; and numerous otherrelatives.
