Sumrow-Sanders capture BCC’s 4-Ball Tournament

Joey Sumrow and Jay Sanders of Hattiesburg combined skills towin the Championship Flight of the Brookhaven Country Club’s 2005Four-Ball Tournament. They shot a 2-round total of 61-64–125,finishing 15 strokes under par, and beating the runner-up team ofSteve Ates-Randy Smith of Jackson by two strokes.
Don Coleman and Paul Henning of Brookhaven won the First Flightwith a 66-63-129. Dewayne David and Tramus Butler captured theSecond Flight with a 70-65–135.
Third Flight honors went to Greg and Shawn Cotton who shot72-68–138. Kurt Abbey and Allen Kent took the Fourth Flight with a75-66–141. Tom Robinson and Harry Roark won the Fifth Flight witha 77-69–146.
A total of 76 teams competed in the 2-day tournament.
