Maude Diamond Gaskin

Funeral services for Maude Diamond Gaskin, of Brookhaven, were 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Clear Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Gaskin, 92, died Dec. 1, 2012, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Brookhaven on Dec. 21, 1919, to Walter and Maude Inez Nations Diamond.
She was a seamstress for Stahl-Urban and a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Lynwood Gaskin; brothers, Clifton Diamond, J.Q. Diamond, J.E. Diamond, Carmen Diamond, Clyde Diamond, Jack Diamond and twin brother, Claude Bill Diamond; and sisters, Rene Windham and Beulah Diamond Roach.
Survivors are her sons, Keith Gaskin and wife, Sherry, Alton Greenlee and wife, Christine, and Walter Ray Greenlee and wife, Delores; daughter, Lynnette Gaskin Smith and husband, Roger D. Smith; five grandchildren, Leanna Smith Barfoot, Wesley Gaskin, Tori Gaskin, Jeff Greenlee and Susan Greenlee Walker; six great-grandchildren, Jaylie Barfoot, Bella, Lily and Katie Gaskin and Kristen and Lauren Walker; and also, by her many friends in her Sunday school class.
