Get ‘tagged’ to qualify for weekly cash prizes

“We’ve got a promotion we’re going to start running Friday wherefolks in Lincoln and surrounding counties have an opportunity towin some money from The DAILY LEADER,” said John Chance, operationsmanager at the newspaper.
“I’ve Been Tagged by The DAILY LEADER” begins with thedistribution of special bumper stickers in Friday’s newspapers.
“We want everyone to put those on their car as soon as they getthem. We will send our photographer out starting Friday night totake random shots of people’s bumpers and car tags,” Chance said,adding that bumper stickers are also available at The DAILY LEADERoffice.
The pictures will be taken at businesses and along roadways inthe Brookhaven and Lincoln County area each week and will befollowed by a drawing.
“Every week we will randomly pick five tags to run in theClassifieds section of the newspaper,” said Chance.
The owner of the vehicles’ that were chosen can claim theirprize by bringing their valid and current Mississippi driver’slicense and vehicle registration to The DAILY LEADER. They willreceive $50, but also have a chance to double their money if theyhave an ‘I’ve been tagged’ bumper sticker on their car.
“If our photographer takes a photo of your tag and you have the’I’ve been tagged’ bumper sticker on, you will $100,” Chanceexplained.
Each weekly winner who claims a prize also has the opportunityto win the grand prize of $250, which will be drawn on April 1.
Every week’s five winning tags will be printed in theClassifieds section Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, Feb.4, and continuing through March 31.
“We’re giving away up to $500 a week,” Chance said.
