Services for Mary Montiel Reid Smith of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Sunday, May 26, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Mrs. Smith, 77, died Friday, May, 24, 2002, at UniversityHospital in Jackson. She was born in Wanilla on Nov. 2, 1924, tothe late Charlie Reid and Elsie Wright Reid Whitehead.

She was a former nurse. She was a member of Mt. Zion BaptistChurch and a member of WMU.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Loyd M. Smith andbrother Bruce Reid.

Survivors are her sons, Loyd Smith Jr. of Flowood, Bob K. Smithof Brookhaven, Bill Smith of Lakeland, Tenn.; sisters Aileen Smithand Pat Dickey, both of McComb; 10 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
