Memorial services for Patrick Joe Smith, of Monticello, were 6p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Church of God and Prophecy in Monticello.Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Smith, 50, died of sudden cardiac death on Feb. 16, 2010, athis residence. He was born on April 1, 1959, to Joe Troy Smith andLavern White Smith Sykes.

He was disabled. He was head hunter for Jim Tatum Enterprises inJackson before becoming disabled. He was a member of MonticelloBaptist Church. He was a high school graduate and attended fouryears of college.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

He is survived by his life partner of 30 years, Tim Barnett.
