Services for Charles Eddie Edwards of Greenwood are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Feb. 23, at Hayes Chapel, Byas Funeral Home, Indianola,with burial in Riverside Memorial Gardens in Indianola.

Mr. Edwards, 47, died Feb. 16, 2002, at Greenwood Health andRehabilitation Center. He was born in Indianola on Aug. 6, 1954, toHezzie and Cynthia Easterling Edwards. He was a former resident ofLincoln Residential Center in Brookhaven.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, JamesEdwards; and his sisters, Willa Mae Turner and Shirley RuthPowell.

Survivors are his sisters and brothers, Earnestine EdwardsJackson, Herbert James Edwards, and Hannah Edwards Brown, all ofEast St. Louis, Ill., Pearlie Edwards Lewis, Johnnie (Bettie)Williams, Archie Hegwood, Hezzie (Virgie) Edwards, and Barbara AnnEdwards, all of Chicago, Nevonnia Edwards Turner of Indianola, theRev. Eugene (Cora) Edwards of Brookhaven, and Albert Douglas(Shirley) Edwards of Cleveland; and a host of nieces, nephews andother relatives.
