Services for Myrtis Evelyn Smith of Baton Rouge, La., are 1 p.m.Monday, Feb. 25, at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel inNatchez with burial in Topisaw Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday, Feb. 25, beginning at 11 a.m. at thefuneral home.

Mrs. Smith, 88, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2002, in Shreveport, La.She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 31, 1914, to Benjamin Leeand Louella Ethlene Coon Williamson.

She was a member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church in BatonRouge and dedicated 30 years of her life to teaching SundaySchool.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, William E.Smith.

Survivors are her daughters, Judy Weeks of Natchez and JoyceWooten and her husband Daniel of Bossier City, La.; sixgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and threegreat-great-grandchildren.
