Patricia Baldwin Thames, 69 of Ruth, diedFriday, July 8, 2011, at Haven Hall Health Care Center inBrookhaven.

    Funeral services are 11 a.m. on Monday at Pleasant Grove UnitedMethodist Church in Brookhaven. Burial will be in the churchcemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Monticello is in charge ofarrangements.

    Visitation is Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.

    She was a member of Eastern Star, Topisaw Order No. 326, and abeloved teacher for many years. She retired from the Natchez PublicSchool system after 30 years of teaching. She was also a member ofthe Faculty of Southern Mississippi Natchez Branch and worked as ateacher in Woodville for two years.

    Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph Douglas “Doug”Baldwin and Elizabeth Graber Baldwin.

    Survivors are her husband, Doyle Thames, of Ruth; her sister,Josephine Young, of Natchez; and her brother, Doug “Buddy” Baldwin,of Brandon.
