Thelma McLeod Adcock
A memorial service for Thelma McLeod Adcock, of Monticello, willbe set at a later date. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.
Mrs. Adcock, 74, died July 15, 2008, at her residence. She wasborn in Monticello on April 21, 1934, to Herbert Ramsey McLeod andThelma Lee Merritt McLeod.
She was a high school graduate and completed three years ofcollege. She was a supervisor in electronics at Ingalls Shipyard inPascagoula. She was a member of Carmel Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, MarilynHearn; and an infant brother.
Survivors are her husband, Charles S. Adcock; her sons, OliverGene Hearn Jr. and Randy Hearn, both of Monticello; a daughter,Shelia Plourd, of Cocos Island, Fla.; a brother, Herbert McLeod, ofMonticello; her sisters, Voncile Case, of Brookhaven, and Edna EarlSpeights, of Monticello; her six grandchildren; and her fivegreat-grandchildren.
Merlon Wayne Reeves
Services for Merlon Wayne Reeves, of the Montgomery Community inLincoln County, are 2 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Hartman-SharkeyFuneral Home Chapel in McComb with burial in Montgomery BaptistChurch Cemetery. The Rev. Mike McKee will officiate.
Visitation is Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Reeves, 67, died July 16, 2008, at his residence. He wasborn in Lincoln County on Nov. 2, 1940, to Merlon Von Reeves andOra Marie Moak Reeves.
He was a retired carman for Illinois Central Gulf and CanadianNational Railroads. He was a member of Summit Masonic Lodge No.231.
Survivors are his wife, Jean Toney Reeves, of the Montgomerycommunity; a daughter and son-in-law, Belinda and Glen Moak, of theMontgomery community; his two grandchildren, Trent Moak andChassity Moak, both of the Montgomery community; and numerouscousins and other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Danny Reeves, Chad Toney, Keith Alexander,Nolan Alexander, Justin Moak and Elliot Moak.

Nellie Mae Johnson Reeves
Services for Nellie Mae Johnson Reeves, of Bogue Chitto, are 10a.m. Friday, July 18, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapelwith burial in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mrs. Reeves, 96, died July 16, 2008, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter in Brookhaven. She was born on Nov. 26, 1911, to RichardJohnson and Lucy Thompson Johnson.
She was a retired factory worker from McComb ManufacturingCompany and a homemaker. She was a member of New Life ApostolicChurch in Summit.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Curtis”Bill” Reeves; her six brothers; and a sister.
Survivors are her sons, Laron Reeves and wife, Bernita, ofMonticello, and Melvin Reeves and wife, Lynn, of Bogue Chitto; hersix grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; agreat-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
