Mr. Bardwell, 35, died June 5, 2005, in Texas. He was born inJackson on Feb. 23, 1970. His parents are Billy Heathcock andVirginia R. Bardwell Fernandez.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Vernon and EvelynBardwell and Jack and Hettie Heathcock.

Survivors are his parents; his stepfather, Roland Fernandez, ofTyler, Texas; his daughters, Jamie Bardwell and Shelby Bardwell,both of Kilgore, Texas; his sons, Cam Bardwell, of Brookhaven; hissisters, Cynthia Garvey and her husband, Greg, of Shelby, N.C.,Michelle Garcia and her husband, Charlie, of Brookhaven, and halfsister, Suzanne Heathcock, of Jackson; his brothers, JohnathonBardwell, of Brandon, and half brother, Mark Heathcock, of Jackson;and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and otherrelatives.

Services for Marguerite Sasser Boyd, of Edgefield, S.C., are 10a.m. Tuesday, June 14 at Arlington Baptist Church in Bogue Chittowith burial in Moak-Sasser Family Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Mrs. Boyd, 83, died June 5, 2005, at Trinity Mission Health andRehabilitation Center in Edgefield. She was born in Lincoln Countyon Aug. 31, 1921, to Randolph R. Scott and Alice Smith Scott.

A native of Bogue Chitto, Mrs. Boyd had resided near her son inSouth Carolina for the past six years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, HaroldSasser and Kary Boyd, both of Bogue Chitto; her daughter, JeanWhyte, of Cordova, Tenn.; her brothers, Ralph Scott, of Natchez,and Randolph Scott, of Brookhaven; and a stepchild, Dan Boyd, ofBrookhaven.

Survivors are her sons, Earl Sasser and his wife, Emilia, ofNorth Augusta, S.C. and Jearl Sasser and his wife, Betty, ofProctorville, Ohio; her stepchildren, Shirley Leggett, of McComb,Roger Boyd, of Brookhaven, and Fred Boyd, of Summit; her brothers,Jerry Scott, of Florence; her sister, Mildred Miller, of Tijeres,N.M.; her seven grandchildren, Chad Sasser, of Atlanta, Ga., JasonSasser, of Charlotte, N.C., Autumn Drane, of Versailles, Ky.,Heather Sowards, of Proctorville, Amber Sasser, of South Point,Ohio, Baker Whyte, of Collierville, Tenn., and Julie Whyte, ofCollierville; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Jerry Lee Dickey Sr.

Services for Jerry Lee Dickey Sr., of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Sunday, June 12 at Greenwood M.B. Church with burial in HillcrestCemetery.

Mr. Dickey, 51, died June 8, 2005, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Lincoln County on Feb. 19, 1954, to ArchieDickey and Lorene Dillon Dickey.

He was a forklift operator at McLane Southern. He was a memberof Greenwood M.B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his stepmother, MaryBarton Dickey; and his stepsister, Rose Brooks.

Howard ‘Billy’ Hailey

Services for Howard “Billy” Hailey, of Hazlehurst, were 11 a.m.Thursday, June 9 at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst withburial in New Providence Cemetery.

Mr. Hailey, 58, died June 7, 2005, at his residence.

He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. He was agraduate of Biloxi High School and Whitworth College. He wasretired from Illinois Central Railroad.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Ruth King Hailey; hisgrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. King and Mr. and Mrs. Rankin M.Hailey.

Survivors are his father, Howard R. Hailey, of Hazlehurst; hisuncle, Scott F. Hailey, of Wesson; his aunt, Sara Bess Heusel, ofBastrop, La.; and numerous cousins.

The infant was born and died June 3, 2005, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center.

Mrs. Johnson, 44, died June 6, 2005, at her residence. She wasborn in Natchez on Feb. 23, 1961, to Edd Bradley and EmmaHoliday.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Emma Holiday; hergrandparents, Spencer and Mary Perkins; two sisters, BerniecePerkins and Mattie Credit; and a brother, Issac Bradley.

Robinson S. ‘Robbie’ Lee

Services for Robinson S. “Robbie” Lee, of Pearl, are 10 a.m.Saturday, June 10 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Pearl witha burial service at 12:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church inBogue Chitto. The Rev. J. Steve Jackson will officiate at bothservices.

Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lee, 82, died June 8, 2005, at St. Dominic-Jackson MemorialHospital.

He was a native of Pike County and made Pearl his home for thelast forty years. He worked for Illinois Central Gulf Railroad forover 30 years, retiring in 1986. He was a faithful member ofMcLaurin Heights Baptist Church and a World World II Navyveteran.

A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he was always a manof great integrity, gentleness and faith despite being confined toa wheel chair for the past 14 years.

Mr. Lee loved watching his children and grandchildren grow uparound him, often times sharing his wisdom of years lived witheach. He also loved watching his devoted wife go about dailyroutines of taking care of him and their home. He also enjoyedwatching “his Braves” on television and being surrounded by hisloving dogs.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie and MinnieLee.

Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Geneva Lee; his son, WillieH. Lee and his wife, Martha, of Brandon; his daughters, PatriciaLee Curtis and her husband, David K. Curtis, of Columbus, andRobbin J. Lee, of Flowood; his grandchildren, Pierce and Nick Lee,of Brandon, and Kennon and Katie Lee Curtis, of Columbus.
