A Brookhaven man was killed Monday night in a one-vehicle accident near Port Gibson, said Claiborne County Coroner J.W. Mallett.
Robert Harvey Durr, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene after his pickup truck ran off the road and struck a tree around 7:50 p.m., Mallett said.
The accident happened about two miles east of Port Gibson on Highway 547. Durr, who had been working at Grand Gulf, was ejected from the vehicle, the coronor said.
There were no passengers in the vehicle and no other injuries in the accident.
Funeral arrangements for Durr, which are incomplete, are under the direction of Riverwood Famiy Funeral Service.
